We Influence is a room people come back to because it’s good to be in. That takes a bit of agreement up front. This is what we agree on — and how to tell us if something goes wrong.

We Influence is a room for people building the creator economy — and “people” covers every kind of person who might be in that industry. We want every attendee to feel welcome, heard, and safe, regardless of background, identity, role, or seniority.
The following behaviours are not welcome at a We Influence meet-up, regardless of context, intent, or who it comes from. Breaches will be taken seriously.
Inside the venue, outside the venue while it’s happening (smokers’ corner counts), and online in any We Influence–affiliated conversation — including email threads that follow on from the evening.
If something happens that doesn’t feel right, or if you witness something happening to someone else, please tell us. You can:
Reports are read by the organising team only. We’ll aim to acknowledge within 24 hours and work with you on next steps at your pace. We won’t do anything that names you without your consent.
Depending on what’s happened, we may:
We’ll tell you what we’re going to do before we do it, where safe to do so.
We will not retaliate against anyone for reporting something in good faith, even if the investigation doesn’t go the way they hoped.
This code of conduct draws on patterns from the Contributor Covenant and the Django Code of Conduct, adapted for a social meet-up context.
