The basic rules for using the site and attending the meet-ups.
Pre-launch draft. These terms are deliberately noindexed and should be legally reviewed before public launch. Operational details must match the final venue, RSVP and partner model.
By using this site, requesting an invite, or attending a meet-up, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or attend.
We Influence is a London meet-up. It is currently unincorporated. Contact us via the contact page.
You can read, link to and share this site. Please do not:
Our code of conduct applies to everyone. Serious breaches can mean being asked to leave or not being invited back.
Meet-ups are informal social gatherings. Attend at your own risk. If you spot a safety issue, tell a host.
Assume light Chatham House rules: share what was said, not who said it, unless the speaker says otherwise.
We don’t record talks. If you want to, please ask the speaker first.
If you send a talk pitch, idea or story, you keep the copyright. We can read it, reply to it and, if you speak, describe the talk publicly. We will not publish your writing without asking.
The words, design and brand on this site are ours. You can quote with a link. Do not copy the site wholesale or rebrand it as your own.
We are not responsible for third-party sites we link to.
We try to keep the site accurate and the evenings well run, but we cannot promise either is perfect. To the maximum extent the law allows, We Influence is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site or attending. Nothing here excludes liability the law does not let us exclude.
If we change these terms, we will update the version and date. Continuing to use the site means accepting the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute goes to the courts of England and Wales.
